PlakettenAlarm works without an account and without its own server. Vehicles, insurers, eVB or insurance-certificate numbers, document photos and checklist status are stored exclusively locally and are not transmitted to us.
Photos are processed only when you actively select the feature. They are stored in the app's private storage area on your device. The app uses the Android system photo picker or system camera dialog and has no access to the rest of your media library.
Reminders are scheduled and triggered entirely locally on your device. No push or notification server is used for this. You can revoke the permission at any time in Android settings.
At startup the app fetches current provider information, the legal texts and the list of our other apps from GitHub Pages or raw.githubusercontent.com. This technically transmits your IP address to GitHub. No app data or usage profile is sent to us. All content is also available offline from the bundled fallback.
When you open an offer, you leave the app and the provider's privacy policy applies. Links may contain a partner identifier used to attribute the visit; we do not send the provider additional app data.
Once you have fully completed the season checklist, the app may open the review function provided by Google Play once per insurance year. Google Play decides whether the dialog actually appears. The app transmits no vehicle, insurance or usage data in the process.
The app uses no analytics tools, advertising networks or tracking and processes no advertising IDs.
Delete individual vehicles and document photos in the app. Remove all local data by uninstalling the app or using Android's Clear storage option.
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. App data is generally stored locally under your control, so you can inspect, change or delete it there. Where external providers process data after you voluntarily open links, their privacy information applies.
This privacy policy is updated when the app, the services used or the data processing changes. The current version is available in the app and at the linked address.
